I’ve lived in the South my whole life and one thing I’ll never get used to is white folks down here romanticizing plantations. White folks get married there, tour the places, talk about how beautiful they are, and turn them into hotels/resorts.
So mf’ers think a place where slavery, torture, genocide, and rape happen is beautiful? Chile please. They wouldn’t dare do that to a concentration camp tho.
I would really like for people who try and justify kpop-idols using the n- word because “they don’t know any better” to take several seats.
I usually don’t engage in this argument but I was watching Show Me the Money 3 last night and one idiot got too hyped and was like “Yeah I’m from Busan Niggas!” … and the judges all just shut up. They were reeling and you could see it’s because they know he shouldn’t. When he said it a second time one of the judges actually put his hand over his mouth in shock.
If that doesn’t tell you that there are people aware of that shit, I don’t know what does.
What I didn’t get though was, despite being shocked and embarrassed at the guys behaviour, none of the judges told him to stfu. Not even Tablo who you’d think would know better.
Oh no SZA didn’t!!
The last part of this interview was the foulest shit.
Before SZA was signed to TDE, late singer/Ab-Soul’s longtime girlfriend Alori Joh was affiliated with the label and most known for her features with Kendrick Lamar. In 2012, she committed suicide at the age of 25 by jumping off of a radio tower in Rancho Dominguez, CA. Q looked sooo uncomfortable and speechless when SZA made that heartless remark at the 2:50 mark in this interview. Was she making that connection to Alori? Maybe, maybe just coincidental. I can’t believe she said that…and laughed too.
In 2010, there were 8 school shootings in the US.
In 2011, there were 10.
In 2012, there were 14.
In 2013? 28.
If that doesn’t horrify you, then I don’t know what would.
ugh my heart is broken.
