Love and Light

I just finished watching this movie and let me tell you it is a sad but great movie. It’s based on a true story of deaf kids getting sexually abused at their school. This movie made me experience every single emotion possible. I was mad, sad, scared, etc. It moved me to tears, trust me I’m not an emotional person so I don’t cry easily but chile a waterfall was coming down my face.

You know I don’t understand some of SK bullshit laws. You got people, such as E-Sens (a South Korean rapper) going to jail for a yr for smoking some damn weed but molesters going to jail for only 6-8 months. Da fuck?! Take note they got lenient punishments b/c the kids families settled out of court. I know here in the states they would not fly. Your lenient punishment would be a good decade in jail, have to file for being a sexual predator, and be monitored. smh.

But in case you are wondering the school where this actually happened recently got closed in November (due to the movie), a former administrator at the school got sentenced to 12 yrs in jail for sexually assaulting an 18 yr old in 2005 and has to wear an anklet bracelet for 10 yrs following his release.

But on a positive note, the acting and plot was PHENOMENAL! Everybody did a great job, especially the little kids.
